An American who grew up in New York, Sabre now lives in Stourbridge, England, the traditional home of British glassmaking. Sabre first began to learn Jewellery making and enamelling in New York under Adda Husted-Andersen and later Irena Brynner. <

More recently Sabre studied glassmaking at the International Glass Centre in England and gilding at Richmond Adult College. She has also attended The School of Jewellery in Birmingham. Her enamelling and glassmaking skills are combined with gilding and jewellery making techniques to create one-off highly individual pieces of jewellery. <

Sabre has been featured in exhibitions at Broadfield House Glass Museum and at the Grant-Bradley Gallery in Bristol. She is the 2008 holder of the Guild of Enamellers Kenneth Benton award for original and innovative use of enamel.
